A Virtual Yoga Fundraiser for Mohammed’s Family
Join us for a slow and gentle yoga practice in support of Mohammed’s family in Gaza, and Mohammed himself as he continues his medical studies in Egypt.
All donations will go directly toward:
Helping Mohammed’s family in Gaza meet their basic needs, including food, water, and medicine
Securing safer shelter amid ongoing displacement and instability
Supporting Mohammed’s tuition and living expenses in Egypt, so he can continue his journey toward becoming a doctor and one day care for others in need
This class will center on tending to our own heart while extending care to those suffering in Palestine and beyond. Together, we’ll explore grounding and comforting asana, slow and nourishing pranayama, and a closing restorative posture that invites us to feel support from the earth and community.
“Since the outbreak of the recent war on Gaza, my family’s life has been turned upside down. They were forced to flee our home under heavy bombardment, leaving everything behind. They now live in extremely harsh conditions, under a tent they managed to buy with the help of others, struggling every day to find food, clean water, and essential medicine. One of my family members suffers from a chronic illness, and access to proper treatment is nearly impossible.
Although I am currently safe in Egypt, I carry the weight of their suffering with me every day. At the same time, I am facing my own financial struggles. As a medical student, I am doing everything I can to continue my education, but the costs of tuition, rent, and living expenses have become increasingly difficult to manage.”

100% of donations will go directly to Mohammed’s campaign.
Those new to yoga are very welcome. You may join live or practice later with the recording. This space will emphasize your own agency and intuition—rest and adaptation are always encouraged.
