Take a deep dive into the wild world of your pelvis. For many of us, the pelvic floor can be a place of discomfort, trauma, or disconnection. Yoga allows us to find a new relationship with our pelvic floor. Through breath, awareness, and movement, you’ll build healthy practices for your pelvic floor.

This series was created for those experiencing pelvic floor challenges— specifically those with pelvic pain and hypertonic pelvic floor. We will focus on lengthening and releasing the muscles. This series could be for you if you experience:

  • Pelvic pain

  • Pain during sex (solo or partnered)

  • Urge incontinence

  • Endometriosis

  • Painful periods

  • Constipation

Or, perhaps you just want to learn more about this vital part of your body!

Pelvic floor yoga is not your typical yoga class. We work slowly and specifically to create ease within the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles. You’ll build awareness of the three layers of muscle of your pelvic floor, and the organs it supports. You’ll experiment with breathing practices to regulate your nervous system. You’ll explore dynamic movement and specific stretches to release your pelvic floor.

Class 1: Education, Anatomy and Awareness

Class 2: Breath and Pelvic Floor Mapping

Class 3: Nervous System Regulation and Dynamic Movement

Class 4: Stretching and Rest Practices

Class 5: Creating Your Home Practice

Create a rich relationship with your pelvis and new skills to support your pelvic health.

Notes: Gendered language will not be used. All genders and anatomy are welcome.

Closed captioning will be provided.

This course will be recorded with the spotlight on Sasha. You may join live or do the recordings at your own pace. Recordings will be sent out directly after class, and will be available for one month after the series ends.
