Inward Bound: A Journey Within

Mondays, 6:30pm-7:30pm EST

with The Practice Coalition

April 1 - May 6 (no class on April 22)

5 classes, Online

Tiered Pricing: $120, $90, $60

For those of us navigating the aftermath of trauma, delving into our inner landscapes can feel daunting. Many of us have learned to keep our physical and emotional selves at a distance. Yet, in a world urging us to neglect our needs and shrink ourselves, embracing a practice of attentive presence becomes an act of defiance. Pranayama practices teach us to tune into the flow of our own subtle energy, and to gently manage that energy through breath, meditation, and more. As we build healthy nervous systems, we’ll discover more capacity to be with our full range of our experiences.

This series will be rooted in gentle asana (postures), pranayama (management of energy) and meditation. We’ll learn how the breath works, and how specific breathing practices influence our nervous system. Slow and steady movement will invite us to find moments of “okayness” in our physical bodies. Each class will end in rest, allowing our bodies to digest these subtle but potent practices.

These practices can be particularly beneficial to those grappling with chronic illness or other health adversities, fostering an approach to pain and discomfort rooted in patience and respect.

Join us as we embark on a journey of holistic healing, honoring the wisdom of our bodies and reclaiming agency over our well-being.
